English football makes an absolute fortune out of the massive Asian market. Manchester United and Liverpool have legions of fans across Asia. Sheffield United on the other hand... don't. In an effort to expand the brand Sheffield United bought Chengdu and changed the name (they had previously been named after a tobacco company). The club have a chequered past to say the least having been relegated for corruption. The shirt is a very well made Umbro effort with the white flash across the chest being a stitched in panel. The badge is a nice Chinese twist on the Sheffield United badge with the traditional Yorkshire white rose replaced by a red Chinese blossom of some sort.
