Chievo Verona were, until the early/mid 2000s, a relatively obscure Italian team who pottered about the lower leagues. All of a sudden they sprung to prominence by gaining promotion and, for a couple of seasons, did quite well before being relegated back to Serie B. The club's nickname is the "Flying Donkeys" which was originally banter chanted by fans of rival club Hellas Verona. The slur became a nickname which the club wear with pride. The shirt is quite a good example of Joma's work and I like the large heraldic motif on the front and back of the shirt.
