In the tradition of Scottish clubs not actually being named after the place they're from Edinburgh City seem rather out of place. They are a semi-professional side from Scotland's capital who adopted the name Edinburgh City in the 1980s changing from the frankly amazing "Postal United". What wouldn't I give for a Postal United shirt? Anyway Edinburgh City played in the Scottish League a century ago and the modern incarnation have tried for election to the league twice and failed both times. This shirt dates back to the 1990s I think and is seriously showing it's age. It appears to be a player shirt as Scottish amateur teams just don't sell much in the way of replicas.
