When Estonia achieved independence following the break up of the Soviet Union they rather sensibly adopted the colours of their tricolour as their national team colours. The blue shirts, black shirts and white socks even follow the order of the bands on the flag. This particular shirt is from 2002 when Nike's design philosophy was to give everyone the same shirt in their own colours. This one in Estonia's enigmatic blue works quite well for a shirt of it's vintage. Somehow this shirt from the coasts of the Baltic Sea found it's way to my friend and fellow collector Eric in Ontario.
