Fleetwood is probably better known for its fishing fleet than its football team and were something of footnote in the annals for footy. That changed, to an extent, after the club gained league status in 2012. The town's maritime heritage is demonstrated through the anchor acting as the main element of the badge. This particular shirt dates back to the club's period before they achieved promotion to the league. This shirt has a special place in my heart as it was the last one I needed to have a shirt from all 92 English league clubs, until such times as Barnet get promoted again.
