There was a fashion in the UK in the mid 90s for clubs to cut out the middleman and basically commission, design and manufacture their own shirts. It was a short lived fad because the clubs soon found out that getting the stuff made to spec and delivered on time is a nightmare and that the sportswear companies generally did a decent job of it. Look at this disaster zone for example. The materiel looks ok having the club crest woven through it but it is in fact n more than a polyester shirt more akin to kit from the early 80s rather than the mid 90s. The detailing is all printed onto the shirt which only emphasises the low build quality. Even the collar is attached off centre and the little pop stud is best forgotten.
