As a kid I decided that Ipswich town would be my favourite English team because they had a nice kit in the 1985 Pannini sticker album. Suffice to say it was much better than this one. Ipswich, and indeed all of Suffolk, has a reputation for being a bit "rural" (Ipswich are known as "The Tractor Boys") so was it a good idea to be sponsored by a company who makes fertilizer and stuff? Does that not only emphasise the stereotype? This dates from the mid 90s when John Wark was back at Ipswich and probably still scoring 12 goals a season from centre half.
