|MANUFACTURER||Le Coq Sportif|
Well Kilmarnock went with a straight colour variation on of the home shirt with this particular away shirt. It's no the greatest short in the world but it's decent enough and good example of Le Coq Sportif's work in the mid 1990s. This shirt was given to me by Kilmarnock fanatic Wallace Currie and a man who clearly knows a good player when he sees one. I once asked him who the best player he'd seen at Kilmarnock's Rugby Park was after watching the great Brian Laudrup play for Rangers. Wallace thought for a minute and then said "Puskas". I suppose you can't get much better than that. As an aside the irony is not lost on anyone that Kilmarnock's home stadium is named after a different sport.
