Away way up in the north of Sweden is the town of Lulea. Despute being fairly modestly sized the town has many football clubs and one of those is IFK Lulea. This shirt was sent to me by Lulea fan Roland Aspviken and I'm very grateful for it. That's Roland on the right hand side with little Albertina. The club has played in the lower divisions of the Swedish leagues since the 1960s when they graduated from the regional Northern Swedish leagues. Like many continental European clubs they were originally a multi sport organisation. This shirt dates from 1993 when they were having a dalliance with the second tier of the Swedish leagues. I may be wrong on this but at present I think the is the most northerly shirt I have in the collection.
