This shirt dates to the season when Paul Ince pulled off a near miraculous management feat and saved Macc Town from almost certain relegation out of the Football League. Interestingly Ince actually pulled on the boots and had a sub appearance at the end of the season which must make him the only Macc Town player who also played for Manchester United, Liverpool and Inter Milan. The shirt is well made and does credit to A-Line with excellent badgework and trim. On the subject of the badge it appears to be a lion holding a bushel of something. In all the time I've lived in Macclesfield I've yet to see a lion of any description, never minding a blue one brandishing crops.
