Occasionally I find a relic, a fossil of a football shirt and add it to the museum. This old Man City shirt is a real old school shirt and is of a design which I remember Aberdeen also using in the mid to late 80s. It's also from a period when shirt sponsorship was a lot less prevalent than it is now. The replica shirts weren't manufactured with sponsors. In more modern times I suspect that sponsorship deals have revolved more around replica shirts than the first team shirts. I really like this shirts and am very pleased to add it to the collection. It's also nice to see what I regard as the proper City badge which they used from the early 70s until the late 90s.
