|TEAM||Novo Hamburgo||SEASON(S)||2000s ?|
|HOME/AWAY||Away||COUNTRY||Brazil Rio Grande Do Sul|
Novo Hamburgo from southern Brazil which has a strong tradition of immigration from Europe, especially Germany. Apparently during World War II the club was obliged to change their name to Floriano, Novo Hamburgo being considered to be "too German" in a Brazil which had joined with the allies. The shirt itself is a pretty straightforward white away shirt but at least keeps a flavour of the club's home colours round the collar. The badge isn't a terrible intricate design but seems to be quite a common design concept for some Brazilian clubs (See Avai which has a very similar badge) As with many of the Brazilian shirts on the site, I am indebted to my friend Bira who sent this shirt to me.
