Central America is often overlooked as far as world football goes with occasional forays to the World Cup by the likes of Honduras, El Salvador and Costa Rica (let's not talk about the Costa Ricans at the 1990 world cup ok?). Panama are one of those countries who never made it a World Cup and as time goes on and it gets harder for smaller countries to qualify it looks like it's unlikely we'll see them qualify out of CONCACAF ahead of the major powers like Mexico, USA and the traditionally stronger Latin and Caribbean nations. The shirt itself is the standard 2006 Lotto design. The Panamanian badge is decent enough and well rendered on the shirt. This shirt was sent to the museum by Ontario's leading Preston fan, Eric.
