I am a believer on doing something a bit radical with your away shirt especially when most teams are tightly bound by their traditional home shirt designs. Queens Park have gine with giving the whole away shirt over to the colours of their sponsor here with the blue and orange of Irn Bru, Scotland's other national drink. For the uninitiated amongst you Irn Bru is a fizzy soft drink which is the only one on Earth to outsell Coca Cola in it's domestic market and it's actually quite nice although I suspect not actually "Made from girders" as the adverts used to claim back in the 1970s and 80s. Other clubs like Ajax and Cork City have done similar away shirts given over to the sponsor over the years. This shirt dates beck to just after "The Spiders" as they are nicknamed agreed to allow former professionals to play for them although they remain to this day the only fully amateur team in the SFL.
