I'm always a little saddened when a team goes under and that is what seems to have happened to Real Colima although I have to admit I don't understand Spanish so I may be wrong. Colima is a state in Mexico and it's shape is shown on the club badge. It seems to be one of the smaller, less populous and more obscure of Mexico's 32 states and this club's raison d'etre was to produce players form Colima and move them up the Mexican footballing system. It seems to have been an unsuccessful experiment as the club's place in the league was take by Guerreros FC. The single diagonal sash is a look which seems to be extremely popular across Latin America. Thanks go to my fellow collector Bira for sending me this excellent shirt.
