This is a much loved shirt amongst Scotland supporters. This shirt served through the qualifiers for Euro 2008 which saw unfancied Scotland grouped with Italy, France and Ukraine, amongst others. Ultimately Scotland didn't quite make it our of the group despite beating France twice but Scotland wouldn't be Scotland without a little bit of glorious failure now and then would it? The shirt itself is a very well made one with some really nice detailing. The chest has a saltire like design woven in and the word Alba (the Scots Gaelic word for Scotland) on the back. In a surprisingly bold move this shirt introduced gold as a home colour and was worn with blue shorts rather than the traditional white.
