|TEAM||Serbia and Montenegro||SEASON(S)||2006|
Serbia and Montenegro's shirt for the 2006 world cup was quite a good one based on Lotto's 2006 template. Sadly for the team the tournament was a bit of a disaster. They were drawn into a group with Ivory Coast, Argentina and the Netherlands and went on to perform poorly including a right hammering from Argentina, a match in which they conceded a fantastic team goal ultimately scored by Esteban Cambiasso. The shirt carries the name and number of Dejan Stankovic. Following the 2006 World Cup the team disbanded as the Serbia and Montenegro split up into it's two constituent countries. Stankovic went on to be the Serb captain in their first match against the Czech Republic following the 2006 World Cup.
