From the eastern part of Ukraine comes this rather nice little shirt from Vorskla Poltova. Vorskla are named after the river which runs through the city of Poltova. The club are a solid enough Ukrainian Premier League side but don't really trouble the likes of Dinamo Kiev and Shakhtar Donetsk. The shirt is a nice example of the Adidas 2009 template and the long sleeved variant shows the asymmetric design of the sleeves. The club badge takes the colours and downward pointing bow and arrow and marries it to a suspiciously soviet era looking red field and golden stars motif. I am indebted to my good friend Anton Sorokin who hails from over Ukraine's eastern border in Russia for sending this rather fine shirt for the collection.
