Scotland has a remarkably high number of "wee teams" and Albion Rovers is as good an example of a "wee team" as any. The club hail from the town of Coatbridge in Lanarkshire. The unusual name, even by Scottish league standards comes from a merger of two original clubs, Albion and Rovers. The shirt's a bog standard Prostar quality shirt although the badgework is very well done. A close examination of the shirt (because I do these sort of things you know) shows patches of glue on each of the sleeves where there have obviously been patches at one time. I suspect that this has at one time been a Rovers players shirt which has had the patches removed to be used in reserve or youth team games.
